SPRING STEEL WIRE
Spring steel is a name given to a wide range of steels used in the manufacture of springs, prominently in automotive
and industrial suspension applications. These steels are generally low-alloy manganese, medium-carbon steel or high-carbon steel with very high yield strength.
Size Range: 1.25 mm to 8.00 mm
Grades: 1, 2 & 3 (Carbon content 0.36% to 0.90%)
Zinc Coating: 0.40 gm/sqm to 250 gm/sqm
Application:
• Used in varied types of industries ranging from automotive to mattresses
• Also used for manufacturing of various types of springs used for diverse purposes
