Welded Wire Mesh or Weld Mesh is the term given to the kind of barrier fencing that is manufactured in square or rectangular mesh from steel wire, spot welded at each intersection.
It is usually affixed to steel post uprights. Weld mesh is a relatively low-cost fencing solution but has the advantage over chain link fencing of not bending so easily and not being so easily cut. Welded wire mesh fences are used predominantly as high-security barriers where visibility through the fence is necessary or desirable. It is therefore ideal for fencing in agriculture lands, highway, road sides, green belts, gardens, greenhouses etc.
Wire mesh is also used for reinforcement act as insulation material in the roof, walls and pipe also as rebar in reinforced concrete.
